My youngest is 3 going on 13. She’s acts so grown up for her age. I think it’s because she has older siblings, and she wants to be like them. She takes dance lessons. She says she wants to be a singer and a dancer when she grows up. She very shy so I don’t know about that. I can’t believe that we are still continuing our nursing journey. When I was pregnant with her I thought I wasn’t going to be able to breast feed, because I have a lot of fibroids. I am so glad that I was wrong. I have been able to successfully nurse her for 3.5 years. I love the closeness and bonding that it creates. When she’s sick I am grateful that I can provide hydration for her when she refuses everything else. For the most part she’s only nursing at bedtime and when she wakes up in the morning. I feel that she will wean herself soon when she’s ready. With potty training I attempted several times even though I knew she was ready, I didn’t push her. One day she wakes up and she says no more pampers I want panties. Since that day she’s had a few accidents during the day and completely dry at night. I feel like she does things in her own time. To celebrate our nursing journey I am posting T-shirts for sale with breastfeeding designs.
This afternoon my toddler put on her gloves and helped me make some epoxy crafts. Hopefully they will setup well and I will be posting some pop sockets, earrings and epoxy glitter pens. We also worked on designing some personalized tumblers for a wedding and a mermaid t-shirt. My older children have extended school year so they are still in school until Wednesday.
