Update

This week we worked on several tumblers and t-shirts. I got a new printer for sublimation. My older children are out of school. I have been working on teaching them how to package products. I have 4 older children with special needs. Each one is different and has their own abilities. I am working with each of them so that they can learn skills that will help them in the future. As a special needs mom one of my biggest fears is who is going to take care of my children, when I am no longer able to care for them. Most children grow up and move out, go to college and start a family of their own. The parental role shifts you are no longer a caregiver. For some special needs children they will never be independent. They will need a caregiver all their life and it’s scary as a parent, because who is going to take over that role when you are unable to do it.  I want to teacher my children as many skills as I can so they can be as independent as their disability allows. If only there was an IEP for adult life.
